From One of My Brides, Akane
Hi Rachel
I'm sorry I haven't written sooner, but I really did want to send you a huge thank you for everything you did for my wedding. I've always had a bit of a problem with my self esteem and I've never thought of myself of someone who it pretty or cute. But you really did make me beautiful. After the trial run, I was amazed at my "transformation". Still, I was really nervous on the Big Day. But your humor and honestly made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I didn't think that was possible for a bride the day of before the ceremony... Are we supposed to turn into Bridezilla's from the stress and pressure? Anyways, I'm sorry I started to cry after I saw myself in the mirror after you were done and you had to touch me up. But I just couldn't believe how amazing I looked. If you only knew what it means for me to say something like that about myself.... anyone who knows me knows I would NEVER compliment myself, let alone accept all of the wonderful compliments I received at the reception. I WAS beautiful. My husband (I'm still getting used to saying that) said that you finally allowed me to see myself the way he has seen me for years.
From the trial I knew that I could trust you to make me look my best, but I never expected that outcome. I also have to thank you for making me feel so relaxed and at ease.
What you did for me was more that I could have ever wished for. It wasn't just make up. You were magic. Thank you again for everything. Needless to say, I will be recommending you to everyone and anyone I know who needs their make up done.
Thank you just doesn't seem to be enough. I can only hope you understand how much I appreciate all you did.
Sincerely,
Akane Richards

From a Bride, Elizabeth
Rachel was so talented and professional! I was so nervous about my wedding makeup, but she came in and calmed me down, showing me my best color options and putting me at ease. My makeup was beautiful, and not at all caked-on, but it still lasted all day! She was so fun, she even had my 92-year old grandmother giggling and made her feel just as beautiful as I did! I am truly thankful my friend referred her to me...she made me feel as glamorous and glowing as I had always imagined, and truly made the day of the wedding go so much more smoothly. She was like a makeup artist, friend, and therapist all in one. I just got some initial pictures back, and I'm amazed I could look like that! I would recommend her to anyone, and already have! Well worth twice the price! Thank you, Rachel!
